This page summarizes the major legal implications and disclaimers involving Rules Fest and its attendees. Registrants are assumed to have given their implicit agreement to abide by the rules and regulations of the Rules Fest Association listed herein while in attendance at the conference.

The use of the Rules Fest Logo is granted to responsible agents for the express purpose of promoting and advertising the Rules Fest conference. If you would like permission to use the logo, please contact us at info@rulesfest.org and put LOGO PERMISSION in the subject line.
Redistribution:
No redistribution of the content of this site is permitted without the express written permission of the Rules Fest Association, Inc. If you would like permission to use our content, please contact us at info@rulesfest.org and put COPY REQUEST in the subject line.
Filming, Audio Recording, and Photographing
Filming:
Rules Fest Association Inc. reserves the filming rights to all scheduled speaking sessions. Filming of the main speaking sessions by attendees using video recorders, movie film cameras, cell phones, hand-held devices, TV cameras, or other A/V recording devices is not permitted. Attendees are free to record after dinner sessions, poster sessions, and other tutorial and breakout sessions except where prohibited by the person, group, company, or other entity hosting the side event.
Audio recording:
Audio recording of the speakers during the main speaking sessions is permitted, but as a courtesy attendees should secure the permission of the speaker.
Photography:
Photographing is permitted during the conference, but we ask that you refrain from flash photography during the main speaking sessions and all other times that it would be a distraction to the speaker and an imposition on the audience.
Obligations of Attendees Staying at the Hyatt Regency - Burlingame
Attendee Obligation Regarding Hotel Accounts:
Each attendee is obligated to settle his or her account with the Hyatt Regency - Burlingame upon the appointed checkout time. Under no circumstances is Rules Fest Association Inc. is able to abrogate that contract nor is it obligated to fulfill it.
Indemnification of Rules Fest Association, Inc.:
Furthermore, each attendee agrees that he or she is responsible for his or her own account with Hyatt Regency - Burlingame, and that he or she holds harmless and indemnifies Rules Fest Association Inc. from any all costs incurred during his or her stay at the resort. In the event that this contract is broken, each attendee acknowledges that Rules Fest Association Inc. is free to pursue all remedies to recover the losses incurred by Hyatt Regency - Burlingame.
Agreement to Hyatt Regency - Burlingame Regulations:
All attendees staying at the Hyatt Regency - Burlingame are bound by its rules and regulations explicitly stated in its registration contract, and an attendee's affiliation with Rules Fest Association and the Rules Fest Conference in no way abrogates that contract.
